COME. EAT. STAY.
Davd Grutman’s Komodo is a breathtaking three story Southeast Asian inspired restaurant and lounge located in the middle of Miami’s eventful Brickell area. It offers unique indoor and outdoor dining atmospheres including it’s treehouse-like signature outdoor floating “birds nest” seating. Enjoy delicious favorites like Peking duck paired with eccentric handcrafted cocktails from one of their three bars before you let the night takeover as you vibe to the music in the top floor lounge. Regardless if you came to fill your belly, dance the night away, or both, Komodo is definitely a must-go!
Although the small plates like the Lobster Dynamite, Grutman Pastrami Egg Rolls and Miso Chilean Seabass Skewers surpassed my expectations, both in flavor and presentation, I have to say Chef Benjamin Goldman nailed it with his Arroz Con Pato! This amazing hot pot is filled with crispy jazmin rice mixed with Peking duck and topped with an assortment of vegetables. When it gets to your table the server assesses how much heat you can take before adding the final touch: spicy gochujang sauce. Simply perfect!
