The Dream of Flight
South Florida’s only indoors skydiving operation, iFLY, offers the young and the young-at-heart to experience the joy of flight. Sounds & Waves
Slide off your shoes and sink into your beach chair every Friday night through June, during the Free Friday Night Sound Waves live music series at The Hub on Fort Lauderdale Beach at Las Olas and A1A. Featuring some of South Florida’s best musical talents and national touring bands performing an eclectic range blues to Motown, disco to reggae and classic rock to country, locals and visitors from around the globe of all ages are invited to join in on the weekly dance party by the sand.
Party In Your Head
Living in Miami or just visiting, why be stuck inside a hot, sweaty club when you can dance freely while sipping on handcrafted beverages in a beautiful cocktail garden in the heart of Wynwood. On April 14 and May 12, Sound Off™ Silent Disco will bring amazing music curated by Sound Off™ Experience DJs. Where each attendee will get a pair of headphones and they will be able to control their own volume and tune in to up to three channels of audio from a live DJ spinning your favorite Hip Hop, R&B, EDM, Latin, and Top 40 tracks (21+ Only).
Music Meets the Waterfront
SunFest was founded in 1982, and it’s Florida’s largest waterfront music and art festival along the intracoastal in downtown West Palm Beach. With five days from May 3 – 7, three stages, and 50 bands that go from Blink-182, Snoop Dogg to Tori Kelly, 3 Doors Down and many more, while one may think it could not get better, it all ends with the BB&T Fireworks Show that will close the Festival on Sunday at 9 p.m.
The Leah Arts Art District zoning offers local artists with live workspace affordable spaces and promotes art and culture within the City of Hialeah. The #HIALEAHNOW Series continues on April 15 from 7:00-11:00pm with Classic Cars & Cocktails in the Leah Presented by Jameson! Straight from the 1960’s, Stephen’s Restaurant (1000 E. 16th Street, Hialeah) will take you back to a time of pin-ups and hotrods. Enjoy pastrami on rye, great tunes, better hair, and some really great cars. Wear your best poodle dress and come enjoy some good ol’-fashioned Leah Love. Featuring rockabilly, classic cars by Slick’s Garage and a hair-do bar doing pin-curls.
Tortuga Music Festival
Held on the white sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in a beautiful oceanside setting on April 7-9, 2017. Tortuga Music Festival is a 3-day, multi-stage music festival featuring some of the biggest names in country, rock and roots music. Tortuga Music Festival brings like-minded fans together for an unforgettable beach weekend experience that pairs music with meaning to raise awareness for marine conservation.
Following a major multimillion dollar expansion, Xtreme Action Park, Florida’s largest family indoor entertainment center has doubled in size and now offers more than 10 interactive attractions from roller skating to indoor ropes course and the Fort Lauderdale Auto Museum. Featuring the longest and fastest indoor asphalt race rack, offering a “real” race experience with European gas powered karts on a half mile poured asphalt track reaching speeds of 45mph. Event space is available for corporate team building, facility buyouts and social various events. Previously 90,000 square feet, Xtreme Action Park will now offer over 210,000 square feet of exciting, themed attractions under one roof.
