Nighttime, My Time…

TGIF(all)! The hustle and bustle of the work week has left you feeling in need of both leisure and thrills. Thankfully, there’s a bit of both to treat yourself to this month. If you’re coming up short on ideas for the season, don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Ice skating, bowling, hip shakin’ and tempting Asian cuisine are just a few suggestions to make your outings movie-worthy!

Hips Don’t Lie

Electrify the dance floor and then chill out at the Fire & Ice bar on South Beach every Monday 8pm-1am. For $25, you get a package that includes a salsa/bachata dance lesson with professional dancers, ice bar admission and a complimentary drink. Make sure to take advantage and test out your new moves on the dancefloor! If you’re really heatin’ up, cool right back down by ordering a drink during happy hour (until 10 pm) which comes served in glasses made of ice!

Boozin’ at Basement

Basement is a vibrant, funky space curated by NYC’s Studio 54’s Ian Shrager. It vows to “take back the nightclub experience.” Visitors who come can expect to dance the night away at a neon-lined seat less club and bar. And the fun doesn’t stop there. Basement is also composed of a bowling alley and ice skating rink that both boast good vibes and incredible music. If you’re looking for a night that strays from the typical hard-partier vibe, come to Basement and celebrate in a different way.

Jezebel is fairly new, having opened in July, and is open 7 days a week, from 5pm to 5am. Happy hour is from 5pm to 8pm so come with your stomach empty to score deep fried Oreos, pizza pockets, and of course, discounted liquor.
