Explore wonders in the sky through the lens of powerful telescopes at the Broward College Buehler Planetarium and Observatory in Davie on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 10 p.m. Susan Barnett, Buehler Planetarium and Observatory director, and other experts will guide you in locating the moon, stars, and nebulae (weather permitting). This is a free event open to the public.

Rub elbows with the pros on July 7-11 at the Miami Beach Convention Center during the MLB All-Star FanFest indoor baseball theme park. Take photos and Collect autographs from legends like Hall-of-Famers Pedro Martinez and Andre Dawson. Show off your baseball skills and get some pointers at the Q&A sessions and clinics coached by Home Run Derby Champion Giancarlo Stanton. The Museum of Discovery and Science invites families to participate in the annual Moonlight Sea Turtle Walks on will occur on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. through July 27th.  Learn about sea turtle nesting then scout Fort Lauderdale Beach where, nature permitting, you may observe a loggerhead sea turtle lay her eggs before she heads back out to sea. A truly unforgettable experience! Hurry and make your reservations, as space is limited.
