A Kickoff Celebration

THE WALGREENS GRIDIRON GRILL-OFF FOOD, WINE & MUSIC FESTIVAL HOSTED A VIP RECEPTION ON AUGUST 20TH TO OFFICIALLY KICK OFF ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY. THE RECEPTION CELEBRATED THE GENEROUS SUPPORT OF FESTIVAL SPONSORS AND PARTNERS.

During the reception, guests got a sneak peek of what’s to come from this year’s anticipated high-end culinary event, which makes its return to the Pompano Beach Amphitheater on Saturday, November 9th. Attendees heard from event founders John Offerdahl, Miami Dolphins legend, and his wife, Lynn Offerdahl, and learned more about the event’s new restaurant partners, entertainment, and more.

This special event was made possible through the generous support; of festival sponsors 4 Rivers Smokehouse, BBX Capital Corporation, Hoffman’s Chocolates, Samuel Adams, and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. Created as a unique way to “Feed the Needs of Those in Crisis” through donations to the Offerdahl’s Hand-Off Foundation, this not-to-be-missed festival has grown to feature 22 teams of South Florida’s top chefs and NFL legends as they bring the heat and compete in a high-end culinary competition.
