JAFCO’s Silver Paradise 25th Anniversary Gala Raises More Than $1 Million
JAFCO’s Silver Paradise 25th Anniversary Gala held under the holiday lights at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa raised more than $1 million for abused and neglected children and those with developmental disabilities. Chaired by Anita and Ralph Byer, the Gala was made possible by presenting sponsor Keith Singer of Singer Wealth Management and live auction donors Crystal Cruises, Mikimoto and Marie Lerner. This elegant black-tie event featured a cocktail reception; fine dining, silent and live auctions, dancing and a heartwarming presentation about JAFCO’s life-saving work. During the event, JAFCO presented the prestigious Jacob’s Ladder Award for Child Advocacy to Myra and Barry Cohen, Margery and Stephen Greenspan, and Lori and Dr. Kenneth Konsker for their commitment and dedication to protect abused and neglected children in our community. JAFCO also presented four very special Lifetime Achievement Awards to the organization’s founders, Deni and Dr. Ron Simon, and JAFCO Directors Sarah Franco and Wendy Jenkins for their 25 years of love and dedication to the children of JAFCO.
