66 PRODUCTIONS, PRODUCERS OF THE GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL (GFLFW), KICKED OFF ITS INAUGURAL BREWS AT THE BEACH BEER FESTIVAL FROM 12-4 P.M., SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, ON THE SANDS OF FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH.
It’s the first year the festival has hosted more than 1,200 guests from 13 states and featured unlimited beer samples from a robust, well-rounded line-up of breweries from around the world. Live entertainment, artisan vendors, and a variety of food for purchase was provided by festival partner Society 8 Hospitality Group. The festival boasted a stellar lineup of more than 50 participating breweries and vendors including local South Florida favorites Funky Buddha, Gulf Stream Brewing Company, Holy Mackerel, and LauderAle, among others. A portion of all proceeds from the festival benefitted The Crockett Foundation, a Broward County-based non-profit organization that helps build character, develop leaders, and improve communities—one child at a time.
