Nation’s fastest growing Concours to feature work by renowned female automotive artist Gloria Jones Hacker during three-day event – all to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County 

BOCA RATON, FL (September 29, 2014) – The ninth annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance presented by Mercedes-Benz and AutoNation is pleased to announce renowned female automotive artist Gloria Jones Hacker as the featured artist during a tremendous weekend of events February 20-22, 2015 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, Florida.


Gloria Jones Hacker is known for her original oil paintings on canvas created in highest quality and has displayed her work at numerous Concours d’Elegance events including the Barrington Concours; the Dayton Concours as the featured artist; and most recently the Pinehurst Concours. Gloria’s works of art reflect her enthusiasm lifelong love of cars with both privately commissioned fine art and contract work for commercial clients including: Lincoln-Mercury, McDonalds, Mead, and more.

Founded by Rita and Rick Case of Rick Case Automotive Group and under the direction of Event Chair James E. McDonnell, IV along with Honorary Chair Mike Jackson, the Boca Raton Concours is all to benefit a deserving cause, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. “The entire Concours team is comprised of a group of about 200 volunteers who dedicate their personal time to the planning and execution of the event,” says Brian Quail, President/CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. “In 2014, the event attracted more than 6,000 attendees and raised more than $1 million dollars for the Boys & Girls Club, making the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance the fastest growing Concours in the nation, and the world’s largest for charity.”

Friday kicks off the weekend of events with the duPont Registry™ Live Hangar Party at the Boca Raton Airport. The evening offers guests a chance to experience select gourmet tastings from more than 20 of South Florida’s finest restaurants and peruse a fine display of exotic cars, custom motorcycles, extravagant boats, private jets, vintage aircrafts, luxury motor coaches, premier vendors, and more.

Saturday features the black-tie optional Gala Dinner Auction & Show at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by a gourmet seated dinner and live auction featuring one-of-a-kind trips and experience packages, luxury jewelry, and more. Guests will also enjoy the presentation of the Automotive Lifetime Achievement Awards to Keith Crain and the Ed Morse Automotive Group, the Lee Iacocca Award to avid car collector Ralph Marano and back by popular demand, a stellar performance by a renowned TV star and comedian Howie Mandel.

The weekend of festivities conclude on Sunday with an Automobile & Motorcycle Exhibition that spans all eras on the newly-renovated and expanded showfield at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. Car and motorcycle fanatics from around the world will experience an automotive showcase like no other, featuring 200 of the finest collector cars and motorcycles from around the country. An expert panel of judges will select the finest vintage, antique, classic and exotic vehicles based on period, presentation and overall style for the Sunday Concours. Wayne Carini, host of Chasing Classic Cars, will serve as Grand Marshal; Automotive historian, author, overall car enthusiast, collector, Dr. Paul Sable will serve again this year as Chief Judge; and former Chief Judge for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance from 1999 through 2012 Ed Gilbertson as Honorary Chief Judge. Once the show kicks off, guests are invited to walk through a series of amazing vendor tents including the 2015 Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance tent which will offer hats, T-shirts and commemorative Concours program magazines, posters and pins from previous years and for the 2015 event. Guests can also enjoy a selection of gourmet food, wine and cocktails from more than 30 of South Florida’s finest restaurants at the Concours d’Gourmet Pavilions.
