Diplomat Prime is the Diplomat Beach Resort’s luxury boutique steakhouse led by Executive Chef Nicolay Adinaguev, and is unparalleled when it comes to wining and dining their guests. Hues of blue and dark wood tones contrast the extravagant chandeliers that light the newly redesigned dining room. You can come for an intimate dinner with your better half or plan your next big family gathering as they offer private dining options for groups of 16 to 28, as well. With Prime’s endless wine selection, fresh sea fare and premium dry-aged steaks, I promise that no one will leave unsatisfied.
The word “aged” may have a negative connotation for some things, but when it’s used to describe your steak it becomes a synonym for excellence in flavor and texture. That is the house specialty at Diplomat Prime where we had the pleasure of enjoying a perfectly seared, dry-aged filet mignon and Porterhouse together with two glasses of Merlot. Delectable shareable sides: Seasoned greens, duck fat steak fries with lemon aioli, and Maine lobster mac & cheese also matched beautifully with the juicy meats.
After that amazing banquet, we were ready for dessert. A white saucer carried velvety créme brûlée and toasted almond brittle to end our meal on a sweet note. We washed it down with a warm cappuccino and went home with full bellies and delightful memories, which prompted the planning of our return.
