After my guest and I were seated at our table, we glanced over their exquisite menu and opted for the Gorgonzola Cheese Stuffed Medjoul Dates for starters. This dish comes with arugula, maple vinaigrette, and apple-wood smoked bacon. The Medjoul dates were sweet and soft while the gorgonzola cheese complemented the date’s sweetness. We both enjoyed all of these flavorful combinations from our appetizer. For our main course, Chef Youssef Hammi made us the Grilled Filet Mignon. The filet was cooked perfectly in red wine sauce and accompanied by roasted potatoes, mushrooms, bacon, and pearl onions. I can’t wait to come back and try all of the other dishes!
To satisfy our sweet-tooth we shared the Flourless Chocolate Torte. As our waiter headed to our table, I just couldn’t wait to dig in. The dessert was everything I expected it be and more. The Flourless Chocolate Torte came paired with a scoop of fresh vanilla bean ice cream, whipped cream, a variety of berries, and was garnished with a cute and delicate edible flower. Once I took my first bite of the ice cream and the Flourless Chocolate Torte, I couldn’t stop eating it. The dessert was sweet, smooth, and tart from the berries, which made me crave more and more, until it was all gone!
