LATE-NIGHT GRUB AND SPECTACULAR MILKSHAKES
THIS CLASSIC-AMERICAN, 24-HOUR, RETRO EATERY OFFERS BREAKFAST ALL DAY, A MENU OF FUN MILKSHAKES, AND A ‘50S AMBIENCE WITH A MIAMI TWIST.
The Miami Diner instantly impresses upon entry. Walk into the neon-lit establishment and you’re greeted by a “Greetings From Miami” post-card inspired mural. It was created by artist Cliff Johnson and features a refurbished Seeburg jukebox in front, making for the perfect picture for your Instagram. Continue through the cozy restaurant and you’ll see other classic diner staples like black-and-white checkered flooring, vinyl bar stools and chairs, and memorabilia from the time period. Music from the ‘50s– ‘70s blasts from the speakers to transport you to a time when “Grease was the word.”
The menu follows classic diner fare with a Miami twist, offering signature burgers like Miami OG and Sall-Mon Burger. Sub sandwiches, salads, and pasta dishes also complete the lunch/dinner menu and appetizers like chicken wings and coconut shrimp are offered for quick bites. There’s also some killer entrees available like Gianni’s Stuffed Chicken (bacon-wrapped chicken breast stuffed with Gorgonzola cheese and topped with chicken gravy sauce) and the Salmon Filet Skewer.
If you’re a breakfast at 11 p.m. type of person, Miami Diner has got you covered with their breakfast all-day menu. There are benedict platters, classic omelets, various types of waffles, and Miami Diner Originals like Huevos 305 (grilled shrimp on two avocado halves, topped with a fried egg) and Miami Waffle Omelet (three eggs with mushrooms, shredded carrots, and cherry tomatoes cooked into a waffle).
Before you leave, don’t skip out on dessert! Their milkshakes are to-die-for with sugary creations like the Munchies Milkshake (CBD oil-infused shake with mint-chocolate chip ice cream, topped with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and fudgy brownie or mint chocolate Kit Kat bar) and Vanilla Heat (Vanilla milkshake with Miami Vice twist, topped with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and glazed doughnuts). Classic milkshakes and soda floats are also offered. Yum!
Other options to sip on include coffees, craft local beer brews, and international wine options. A full-service liquor bar and a Bloody Mary bar are also set to launch further down the line.
