Miami’s New Oasis Debuts in Wynwood

The Oasis is an entertainment venue that just opened last month at 2335 N. Miami Ave. It features innovative food concepts, bars and lounges for socializing, and shops to enjoy. It brings on board some well-known local talent, who are responsible for the venue’s culinary and entertainment management: Sven Vogtland and Alan Drummond, two of the co-founders behind Coyo Taco ,1-800-Lucky, and the new hotel, Moxy South Beach.

“We set out to truly create an ‘oasis’ in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Miami.” said Erik Rutter and David Weitz, developers of the venue and brains behind the operation. “We believe that The Oasis is going to be the new cultural epicenter of not only Wynwood, but also Miami and South Florida.”

The cultural hub consists of a sprawling outdoor courtyard featuring six premier dining destinations, a “Tower Bar,” and a stage for live performances. They will offer weekly live performances, including top music artists, as well as cultural events that will focus on art and neighborhood programming. In addition, the Oasis is home to Huacachina, an indoor/outdoor cocktail lounge that offers guests a large indoor bar, private dining room, and its own unique programming.

Buya Dumplings + Buns

As for the culinary options, there is an outdoor food and beverage experience, with each restaurant located in an outfitted shipping container. The six concepts are a mix of local talent and New York City favorites. Alidoro serve ups authentic Italian sandwiches, Buya Dumplings + Buns offers Asian street food favorites, CHIKIN cooks up fried chicken sandwiches and Asian-inspired sides, Mr. Mandolin boasts authentic Mediterranean cuisine, Prince Street Pizza focuses on signature NYC-style pizzas, and finally, Los Buenos serves as a Mexican taqueria. There’s something for every taste at this culinary hot spot!

The Oasis will also be home to several retail shops, including a cafe and fitness studio—and Spotify’s Miami headquarters.
