Broward’s Best-Kept-Secret Just Added a New Aquatic Adventure
The Broward College Tigertail Lake Recreational Center is one of the best things to do in South Florida, but I bet you haven’t heard of it until now! The entertainment facility has actually been around for about 25 years, and is still making new developments and adding installments. It currently boasts water activities like paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking, scuba diving, and water polo, as well as an elevated Ropes Course that’s open and free to the public every three months.
The newest addition is their mind-blowing Aqua Challenge, an 8,000 sq. ft. inflatable water obstacle course. Installed about two months ago, it stands as a test of balance, strength and concentration as guests constantly spring, slip, slide, and splash into the water from the floating platforms. The course contains several notable features like a 12-foot tall climbing wall with a free fall slide, a trampoline that propels guests into the air, a Foxtrot balance beam, a 25-foot bouncing dome, a 20-foot wide Cyclone hamster wheel that allows four people at a time to spin, and The Ultimate Catapult, a swing that sits above the water, where guests can either relax, or leap into the air! Tigertail hopes to continue expanding their playground paradise; right now they’re working on developing a more efficient check-in center with iPads, as well as other future water sports.
Stop by to have a waterful time here, whether you’re working on team building, having a day out with the family, or looking for a place to cool down in the heat, Tigertail will have you roaring like a tiger and swimming like a dolphin!
