Enjoy a tropical evening at the United Way of Broward County’s All White Affair on the Intracoastal at Grateful Palate. Cabana-style furniture and a wonderful sunset view will set the mood for the evening. VIP is available with dockside seating, a cigar lounge, light bites, and an open bar! Support man’s best friend at The 1st Annual K-9 Cause Art Auction. Original works of art, inspired by the hard-working police dogs at the Broward Sheriff’s K-9 Training Field, will be sold off at this Silent Auction Event. When K-9s retire after a life dedicated to law enforcement, their healthcare can be expensive, making it difficult for the law enforcement handlers that adopt them. This event will benefit the Broward Sheriff’s Foundation’s Retired K-9 Relief Fund, which aims to pay for up to 50% of the wellness care costs for retired K-9s from any law enforcement agency in Broward County. It will take place at American Heritage’s Black Box Theatre, and the school will donate 100% of the proceeds to the fund.

The 30th Annual Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry will be a celebrated event featuring gourmet cuisine and libations crafted by the city’s top chefs, sommeliers, mixologists and brewers. American Heritage School has partnered with Lighthouse of Broward to host Heroes, a fundraising concert and auction. This classy event will benefit the blind in our community by helping to provide them with rehabilitation, counseling, and educational services. World-acclaimed celebrity opera singer, Carlos de Antonis, will be the honored guest and singer of the night. Attend to help over 2,700 visually impaired Broward County residents, all while listening to charming music!

With over 3,000 participants set to attend this event, you’ll want to run on over too! The 8th Annual LaCroix Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K has raised over $1.25 million to raise awareness and funds towards the end of drunk and drugged driving. They aim to support the victims of these violent crimes, prevent underage drinking, and spread more awareness about the dangers of DUI.
