Baptist Health South Florida will gear up for The Grand Gala at the newly renovated, iconic Miami Beach Convention Center. Over 1,000 guests and donors across South Florida will be attending in support of the organization with proceeds to benefit the Baptist Health charity of each gala-goer’s choice! Get your glam ready to join the largest social and fundraising event in the organization’s history. While the evening begins, you will have an extravagant dinner, followed by dancing at the Convention Center’s largest ballroom with Michael Feinstein, the multiplatinum- selling, five-time Grammy nominated singer and pianist. Plus, there will be a live and silent auction that will feature rare experiences and professionally curated items!
ON THE GREEN
Golfers will enjoy a day on the green to raise funds that will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s many positive programs, including homework assistance, after school programs, computer training, social skills, arts and crafts, dance, professional mentoring, and athletic programs for area children who need them most. The 52nd Annual Golf Classic will be held at the Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club. The day-long tournament will begin with a putting contest from 11:15-11:45 a.m. and the shotgun start will immediately follow at noon. The day will conclude with cocktails, a delectable buffet-style dinner, a raffle, and a silent auction!
Get your party on with the Parkinson’s Foundation South Palm Beach Florida Chapter as they host their signature event, the “Spring Soirée Gala,” at the Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton. The night is dedicated to celebrating the vision of Parkinson’s Foundation in order to make life easier for those living with Parkinson’s Disease by educating and empowering the community. Admission to this event is $250 per person and will include cocktails, fine dining, music and dancing with the Dan Beck Band, as well as live and silent auctions!
Celebrate diversity with the United Way of Broward County’s Power of U to be held at the Grateful Palate Catering & Events in Ft. Lauderdale. All proceeds from this event will go towards the organization’s mission to fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in the community. In this celebration of diversity, white attire is requested. The United Way of Broward believes that to be inclusive, is to leverage diversity by bringing together unique individual backgrounds to collectively and more effectively address the issues facing our community. With a ticket purchase of $100, guests will enjoy dockside sunset views, an open bar, a raw bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cigar lounge, and great music!
CORNUCOPIA OF DELIGHTS
Calling all seafood lovers! This event offers non-stop celebration with celebrity chef demos, scrumptious seafood, live entertainment, educational activities, kids’ rides and games, and much more. The 15th Annual Deering Seafood Festival will be held at the beautiful Deering Estate. Tickets for adults are $20 in advance or $25 at the gate. Tickets for children ages 4-14 are $7 in advance or $10 at the gate. Proceeds benefit the Deering Estate Foundation and are used for environmental education, preservation, and programming. Dance and groove to live music all day long, as Virgin Islands stilt walkers and free-spirited Bahamian Junkanoo musicians weave throughout the crowd!
