Entertain yourself this month with lots to do! An art fair in Las Olas, a craft beer festival, and a scrumptious seafood festival are all hot events to flock to. Also make sure to mark your calendars for these significant November events—some of the most anticipated of the year!

Oct. 12

Get ready to pour it up at Grovetoberfest, the largest all-inclusive beer festival “in the entire galaxy!” Craft beer connoisseurs: you can’t miss this. With over 500 craft beers, tastings, and live music, it’s going to be an event for the books! Tons of different local and international beers will be available for tastings, and with a general admission ticket, you get unlimited samples. Some of the breweries featured include Pabst Blue Ribbon, Sweet Mercy, New Holland Brewing, Lauderale, and Brew Hub, but the list goes on. It’s best to enter this festival beer belly first, and dive in!

Oct. 19-20

What’s better than seafood? A seafood festival! If you’re a lover of crab, shrimp, lobster and more you will definitely want to attend the delicious South Florida Seafood Festival. You’ll be able to kick off stone crab season by trying out some of the best here, as well as other tasty options like ceviche and paella. To complete the tropical vibe, grab a mojito at the Shipwreck Bar, where cocktails will be served all day. Live music, a family fun zone, a nautical market, and a kitchen lab are just some of the entertainment that will be available throughout the weekend. So, what are you waiting for? Buy those tix!

Oct. 19- 20

Art lovers looking to get in some great art pieces before Art Basel in December, should head out to the 32nd Annual Las Olas Art Fair. Over 300 national and international artists will be featured in the showcase, which will include fine art from all different mediums. Expect paintings, sculptures, jewelry, woodwork, wearable art, and more for your viewing pleasure. If you would like to commission a piece, you will also have the opportunity to ask the artist, as they will all be right beside their artwork. Another great thing about the fair? It’s outdoor and pet-friendly! Bring your furry friends!

Oct. 30-Nov. 3

The 60th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will take over “The Yachting Capital of the World,” Fort Lauderdale, for a whole weekend. Boat enthusiasts will be excited and overwhelmed with over 1,500 different types and sizes of boats that will be displayed. Six miles of floating docks and over 1,200 exhibitors will make up the extravagant show. Marine products and accessories will also be featured and for sale to help enhance that nautical lifestyle! Float out for some fun in the sun!

Nov. 9

The Walgreens Gridiron Grill-Off Food, Wine & Music Festival is the best-valued food and wine festival in SoFlo, and it’s all for a good cause! Restaurateur and former Miami Dolphins’ player John Offerdahl is very involved in the Gridiron Grill-Off, with a portion of the funds going towards his Offerdahl’s Hand-off Foundation. The proceeds will then be put towards scholarships at Broward College and towards the Taste of the NFL Kick Hunger Challenge. The festival provides fun for the whole family with live entertainment, a cornhole tournament, a tailgating zone, and a true Grill-Off, with 22 high-end restaurants and 22 Miami Dolphin legends teaming up to have a barbecue showdown.

Nov. 24

Winterfest’s Family Fun Day is just one of the many events that lead up to the big Winterfest Parade in December, and it’s definitely one to mark on your calendars! This event ok free for the or family will feature a ton of activities like face painting, exploring the Florida Renaissance Pirate Ship, petting puppies at Danielle Pet Rescue Row, and more. Since the Family Fun Day is also close to the holidays, you’ll be able to enjoy the Toboggan Tunnel, Polar Express, Catabella Express, and Sun Sentinel Kids’ Town as well! Photo ops with Santa and live music by Shane Duncan Band will close out a great evening. Make sure to come out!
