Dazzle your eyes with LightScapes by Haiiileen: An Exhibit about the Wonder of Light at the Young At Art Museum, located in Davie. This solo exhibition gives viewers a multi-sensory educational experience about the wonder of light, and a translucent maze of marbleized acrylic walls, which the artist had deemed the first of its kind. You will also see a towering illuminated installation entitled Aqua, a hands-on fabrication lab with a focus on electricity, light frequencies, negative and positive wavelengths, a suspended rotating mobile with 300 custom acrylic sculptures with translucent forms lit by changeable LEDs, and an immersive educational experience!
Come and spend the day enjoying Fort Lauderdale’s sunshine and waterways while browsing an amazing array of boats, accessories, and marine products at the 59th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the world’s largest in-water boat show with more than 1,500 boats on display. The show is located at Bahia Mar Yachting Center and offers something for everyone, from super-yachts to boats, boating equipment and electronics, marine art, fishing gear, nautical-themed home goods, clothing, jewelry, and more. There will be attractions for the whole family to experience, including the kids’ fishing clinic, live water sports demonstrations, educational sea life touch tanks, and on-the-water boat handling workshops that you can’t miss!

Get your tickets for the 37th year of the Broward County Fair! Bring your family and friends to see some turkeys in person during Thanksgiving season! Don’t miss the fun and exhilarating rides like the Zipper, Vortex, Trooper, Sea-Ray, carousel, and many more! The Broward County Fair is a diverse not-for-profit organization that represents the cultural life of Broward County residents through community programs. They will feature a variety of music, dramatic performances, talent, educational exhibits and organizational displays, competitions, and premium award programs. Be there!

The Center Broward Regional Park & Stadium will be hosting a new and spectacular event for this holiday season, the Chinese Lantern Festival produced by Hanart Culture. This event will have an eight week run, so immerse yourselves among Chinese culture, authentic Chinese foods, hand-made gifts by Chinese craftspeople, live entertainment, multi-hued “The Wild” animal lantern displays, and more!
The early bird gets the worm! Join the fun on Thanksgiving morning to run, jog, or walk during the 8th Annual Holy Cross Hospital Fort Lauderdale Turkey Trot, which has become a Broward County tradition. The event will take place at D.C. Alexander Park along the beautiful and scenic Fort Lauderdale Beach and A1A attracting thousands of participants annually. Whether you’re a novice, experienced, or seasoned runner, this run is the perfect prelude to your holiday meal. Plus, they will even have a Kids’ Dash! Get into the spirit of the race as participants are encouraged to wear Thanksgiving-themed costumes!

This year’s live music line includes, VIVI Rock & Roll and Blues Revival.
