Returning for its 20th year, the star-studded gala will benefit The Consequences Foundation, Teach for America, Breakthrough Miami and other worthy causes that support at-risk youth

MIAMI BEACH, FL (October 6, 2014) – One of South Florida’s most prestigious, star-studded charity events will return for its 20th year as Lea and Roy Black and The Mariano Foundation present “The Blacks’ Annual Gala” on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 7 p.m.-midnight at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Headlined by legendary singer, the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, the event will benefit The Consequences Charity, Teach for America, Breakthrough Miami and other worthy causes that support at-risk youth – a cause “The Blacks’ Annual Gala” has raised several million dollars for over the last two decades.

The Andy Warhol-themed event will kick off with celebrity arrivals, including Gloria and Emilio EstefanCourtney Love and special guest host Ross Mathews of E!, on the black and white checkered “red” carpet featuring a custom step & repeat complete with pop art performers clad in body painted costumes. Lea and Roy Black will welcome Frankie Grande of Big Brother and Mama Mia! on Broadway; Lisa and Lenny Hochstein of The Real Housewives of Miami; Salvador Camerena, celebrity stylist; Bernard Hopkins, IBF, WBA and IBA light-heavyweight world champion; Nick Loeb, entrepreneur and socialite; Greg Lotus, famed editorial photographer; David and Jacqueline Siegel of The Queen of Versailles; Helio Castroneves; Jonathan Cheban; and moreGuests will enjoy a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by a gourmet dinner and live auction with an exclusive performance by Aretha Franklin. Steven M. Mariano of The Mariano Foundation will also be honored as the event underwriter.
