There are many great ways to donate and give back to your favorite charity during this holiday season. You can attend a lighting celebration, watch an art and talent show, or go to a beach festival!
LIGHTING THE ANGEL TREE
Come to the 35th Annual Tree Lighting celebration at the Sailfish Club to kick-off the holiday season, which will benefit Adopt-AFamily of the Palm Beaches. They’re dedicated to providing services, programs, and solutions to homeless and low-income Palm Beach County families experiencing a crisis. Their mission is to help these families and children to achieve stability and self-sufficiency by providing access to all-encompassing services. Tickets to this event are $350 per person. The holiday celebration will commence at 6 p.m. with a serenade by The King’s Academy choir, a cocktail reception, and a silent auction featuring an extensive live orchid display. There will also be a “super-silent auction” with noteworthy items such as a round-trip airfare for two, a bag by designer Salvatore Ferragamo, a night at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, a gourmet meal, and much more!
Spend an evening with “A Night for Autism Let’s Get Creative” at the Midtown Athletic Club in Weston, benefitting Helping Adults with Autism Perform and Excel (HAAPE). They are a nonprofit organization that strives to provide young adults and adults with autism the opportunity to benefit from meaningful employment to become more independent and enhance their lives. The event will commence from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Price of admission is $100 per person. There will be food, drinks, music, an amazing bazaar, and most importantly, the young adults with autism sharing their art and talent with everyone!
